This lodge is located in one of the most accessible locations for experiencing the best of Mount Shasta. Trails surround the property, yet we’re only 1 mile from downtown, tucked away amidst mature forest.

Directly across the street is the Gateway Peace Garden, a meditation and prayer garden open to the public. Just two doors down from the lodge is a local farmstand, open 24/7, where guests can conveniently pick up fresh, locally grown produce and other seasonal goods.

Down the street is the Gateway Trail, Northern California’s premier mountain biking trail system. At the end of the street is Mt. Shasta City Park, home to the headwaters of the Sacramento River—and some of the best-tasting water in the world!

A little farther up the road is Bunny Flat Trailhead, the highest parking area on Mt. Shasta accessible year-round and a popular starting point for hiking, sledding, climbing, backcountry skiing, and snowmobiling.
